The Top 10 Movies to Watch

This is part 3 of my series of top 10 movies to watch, and today I will discuss the movie The Fantastic Mr Fox. The movie is directed by Wes Ball, who is one half of the genius minds behind the comedy team of Letterman and Seinfeld. You may not know it yet, but The Fantastic Mr Fox is a great comedy in every way, and it will be a delight for all ages because it tackles life in the big city, and it also touches on human nature and how people handle their personal problems as best they can. If you enjoy funny movies that are at least somewhat serious, then The Fantastic Mr Fox is perfect for you.

It is set in the colorful city of New York City, where the streets are lined with shops selling everything from clothing to exotic spices. But this is not your typical city, as there are two sets of people living here: the rich who own the stores on the streets, and the poor who live in the sewer system, under the bridges and in the sewers. The movie starts off with a foul-mouthed rich guy (Mr Macready) being forced to give away his fortune to a blind girl. As he walks away, he fumes and his guts drop. He then decides to pursue his dream and work full time as a bounty hunter, tracking down and killing those criminals who hurt people. It is up to his ex-wife (Lori Singer) and his new sidekick, aptly named Fox (Eli Wallach), to help him along.

There are many reasons why The Fantastic Mr Fox is a good watch, but it is mainly because of the performances. Both Seinfeld’s Jerry and Lori Singer deliver fantastic acting and screen-acting performances, bringing the character of Fox to life. Also, the late Michael Caine lends his acting skills to the film as well, providing some much needed comic relief. Overall, this is a great movie to watch if you have never seen it before. It has some excellent visual elements, lots of humor, and good story-line. It is a movie that everyone should see.
